Day 01

Negombo

You will be welcomed by our English speaking representative and be accompanied to a Hotel of your choice in Negombo

Day 02

Early morning leave for Sigiriya, via Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is not only an orphanage but a nursery and a captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants, located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 mi) northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka.
In 2011 Pinnawala was noted for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. There were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations living in Pinnawala. The orphanage was originally founded in order to provide care and protection, for many of the orphaned, un-weaned, and wounded wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife

Sigiriya

Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft.) high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning.

Day 03

Anuradhapura

After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura to visit the ancient cities. The Anuradhapura Kingdom was the first established kingdom in ancient Sri Lanka founded by King Pandukabhaya in 377 BC, and the kingdom’s authority extended throughout the country’s 8 main places of worship known as Atamasthanaya known as Sri MahaBohiya, Ruwanveliseya, Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, Abhayagiriya Jetavanaramaya, Mirisavetiya, and Lankaramaya

Day 04

Polonnaruwa

After breakfast, you will visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and on the way back visit the Mineriya National Park where you will enjoy a Jeep safari.

Day 05

Kandy

After breakfast proceeds to Kandy,via Dambulla Cave Temple, You will also be visiting a batik factory and a spice garden in Matale on the way to Kandy.
Kandy is the second largest city in the country after Colombo, located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka and was declared a world heritage site. Kandy is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Buddha. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. In the evening, you will be entertained by a cultural Dancing show followed by dinner.

Day 06

After breakfast, you will visit a wood carving factory, gem museum, and Peradeniya Botanical garden and proceed to Airport
